Google has just completed the Search URL in the Search Console with other information (most of which is already available in the old version). HTML code, blocked resources, HTTP response, etc. It’s on Twitter that the Search Console development team has just announced a series of new features in the ‘URL Inspection’ area of Google’s Webmaster Tool.
When you enter a URL in the tool, you get the following screen, with a link called ‘Show Explored Page’:
You now get several new features displayed:
- Indexed page HTML Code
- A site page screenshot as Googlebot sees it (for the available online page):
- An area ‘More info’ in which we can get the HTTP code returned (200 or other), the blocked resources of the page (if there is any) and the messages of the Javascript Console:
Most of this information was already available in the old Search Console, so it is displayed here in another form. Google continues its transfer of tools between the old and the new version of Search Console …
